Bush walking with her Grandfather started Nikki’s interest in the nature.  Later, through scouting and mountaineering, Nikki discovered bush survival skills. She has since studied with those from Tracker School and Wilderness Awareness School as well as Joanna Macey’s Deep Ecology. Nikki spent 2010 living in the bush, employing all of her bush survival skills. Passionate about keeping these ancient bush skills alive, she is passing on the knowledge and continues learning.
